Besides coding, I also tinker with cars. More specifically I love racing cars. Over the years I saw many change hands over random Facebook marketplace groups and niche forums. I decided to make something better: a simple marketplace for buying and selling track-prepper cars.
The new marketplace will only feature purpose built cars that are ready to pass the next tech inspection. No half-finished builds.
Why I built it
- It’s hard to find well-sorted track cars without digging through endless unrelated listings.
- Facebook groups are fragmented and lack good filters.
- Most “enthusiast” marketplaces aren’t geared toward actual on-track use.

- Create a mailing list of track enthusiasts.
- Feature upcoming track events directly on the site.
Tech stack
Currently I am using Django and Bootstrap for this project and keeping it as simple as possible. I will be posting technical updates as I continue working on it.
